Where are you located?

My home base is Bradley Beach in Monmouth County, NJ . New Jersey and the tri-state area is where the many of my weekend weddings and weekday photo sessions are located.  There is nothing like summer in the Northeast! I love photographing all over the Northeast (especially in my favorite coastal town of Newport, RI where I first fell in love with photography).

Weekdays at sunrise and sunset all over NJ and NY are when most of my family portrait and water sessions occur. Around the holiday season, I take trips to visit family in Amelia Island, FL and Maui, Hawaii which I regularly take photo session bookings at around those months.

Do you travel for weddings and photo sessions?

YES! Travel is one of my ultimate loves, so please do not hesitate to ask about any location across the country or worldwide. I photograph weddings year round all over the Northeast, driving as north as Rhode Island and Maine, and as south as Florida. Destination weddings are always on my radar, as there is nothing I love more than photographing new places, cultures, and landscapes. I have no accommodation fees for bookings in Amelia Island, Florida and Maui, Hawaii.

When will we get our photos? How are they delievered?

Wedding turnaround times are 2-3 months, with a few preview images within 1 week after the wedding date. I love to get previews over to my couples the week of as I know we are always eager to see some photos. The final full wedding gallery will be delivered 2-3 months after the wedding date. Majority of weddings consist of 700+ professionally edited images in an online gallery for full res download and a connected personalized print store (with an easy to use wedding album making program).

During the summer months, portrait session turnaround times are up to 2 weeks. I will provide all the best photos from the session in an online gallery for full res download (I never sell individual photos). Most sessions get you 50+ edited images. Anyone with the gallery link can view, favorite, and download the photos.

What venues have you photographed at?

An ever growing list of venues I have photographed over the years can be found on my website here. ALTHOUGH, if there is a venue I have not been to, a lack of familiarity with a venue has little to no impact on the quality of the photos or your wedding day!

I have experience to adapt to an endless list of lighting and environmental situations - photographing in dark churches, small spaces of all kinds, dark ballrooms, outdoor tented events, rainy outdoor ceremonies, indoor ceremonies of all kinds, tight hotel rooms, families homes, Airbnbs,  windy beaches, and MORE!

My experience allows me to adjust to all conditions, environments, and weather events quickly and efficiently to ensure stunning wedding photos. All while keeping couples happy and enjoying their wedding day experience from start to finish.

What does your Proposal + Engagement Package include?

If you are thinking of proposing, this photo package is for you! It includes 2 photo sessions, one at the time of the proposal and one engagement session at a later date. Separating the two sessions allows your fiancé to plan their outfit, collaborate with you on a shoot location, and just be ready to take some beautiful photos at a later date after the proposal moment.

Why do an engagement session?

The engagement session is an incredible way for us to get to know each other and build excitement for the wedding day. Book your session on land or even in the water before the big day. This is also a great opportunity to get photographs for a save the date announcement.

Sunrise or Sunset?

I LOVE the lighting during sunrise and the early morning hours. The sun coming up over the ocean on the east coast creates the most beautiful backlit portraits. I always suggest to my couples and families that if you can make sunrise work you will definitely not regret it! Not only is the lighting ideal, but it is less likely to be windy or rainy on the beach as well.

Sunset is still a great option and many of my shoots are around this time as well. The wind and rain is usually less predictable at this time in the summer, but I am always flexible to rescheduling a portrait session if we get rained out. I always want to get my clients the best photos possible.

When is the best time for ocean sessions?

Ocean sessions are amazing late June through September. The warmer the water the better, but I always loved my adventures couples that are down for a fun polar plunge!

My fiancé and I are not comfortable in front of the camera, will you tell us what to do?

Worries about feeling awkward or uncomfortable in front of the camera is one of the most common things I hear from couples before their photo session. I promise you, this is such a normal feeling and there is nothing to be anxious about! My job is to make you feel comfortable and completely enjoy the experience. I love just laughing with my couples and guiding them through the session. There are so many little tips and tricks we can utilize along the way so you feel beautiful, relaxed, and have a blast with it. I work with everyday people and couples just like you to capture genuine and fun loving moments.

What does your Maternity + Newborn Package include?

This is one of my favorite packages to offer to be apart of a new mother's journey. This package includes a maternity session around 30 to 36 weeks of pregnancy at any location of your choice - your home, the beach, favorite park, etc. We will do a second session when the baby arrives within the first 2 weeks up to 2 months after birth. Although photos can be taken anytime within the first 6 months after birth and I always like to include Mom and Dad to be apart of the session as well.

Do you have go-to locations for photo sessions?

I have several favorite beach locations with great dunes, paths, and are away from any summer crowds. I also have a few favorite parks, forest spots, and open fields too! I love a good nature session. Sessions in and around New York are also always an option, as I love enjoying running around the city and Central Park for sessions.
